DocuSource Helping Triangle Spokes Group

RTP, N.C. (September 29, 2010) - DocuSource of NC (www.docusourceofnc.com), a marketing services provider of printing and communication materials as well as Web portals for document storage and ordering, announces today that the company is supporting the Triangle Spokes Group, a nonprofit organization that distributes new bicycles and helmets to less fortunate families during the holiday season. DocuSource is hosting a donation collection location at its Morrisville headquarters and will make a matching donation for all funds collected at its office.

“By delivering new bicycles to area children, the Triangle Spokes Group helps promote exercise and allows the kids to enjoy the simple pleasure of playing,” says Kathy Murchison, DocuSource president and CEO. “We are proud to support the organization and look forward to helping it reach its fundraising goals for this year.”

The Triangle chapter of The Spokes Group was founded in 2007 by Ashley Wilson and Jenn Nowalk. The women modeled the organization after the Charlotte charity of the same name. Since its formation, the organization has raised more than $49,000 and distributed 700 new bicycles to area children. Donations may be made at area collection locations or online at www.trianglespokesgroup.org/donate. One hundred percent of donations go toward the purchase of new bicycles and helmets. All administrative and overhead costs are covered by The Spokes Group on a personal basis.

“DocuSource has been a champion for our cause for several years, and we are thankful for their efforts,” says Ashley Wilson, co-founder of Triangle Spokes Group. “Our success wouldn’t be possible without the continued corporate support from area companies.

DocuSource has a long-standing commitment to community involvement. The company supports more than 20 programs and organizations that improve the quality of life for Triangle residents. These include Be Active North Carolina, Boys and Girls Club of Wake County, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Summit House Raleigh, Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation and the Raleigh and Durham Rescue Missions and Women’s Center of Wake County.
