MORRISVILLE, N.C. (May 28, 2015) - DocuSource of North Carolina, LLC, a full-service, technology based, digital print provider, announced today that it received four 2015 PICA Awards from the Printing Industry of the Carolinas. This was the 12th consecutive year that DocuSource was recognized for printing excellence throughout North and South Carolina.
DocuSource won two Best of Category Awards and two Special Judges Awards. Only one Best of Category may be given in each category.

This year, the PICA Awards attracted more than 560 entries from 48 printing companies. A panel of judges with extensive experience was brought in to examine the work. The judging criteria included: registration, crossovers, clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, ink coverage, difficulty of printing, effective contrast or softness, finishing, bindery, and overall visual impact.
The PICA Awards have been a symbol of printing excellence in North and South Carolina since 1966. More than 265 printing professionals were in attendance as DocuSource was honored at the award celebration in Concord, N.C. on April 18.
